my specs is
dfi nf4 sli dr expert
3800 venice@2,7
2x 6800 ultras 512mb 1150/450
ocz vx 4000 [email protected] 1gig
raptor 74gb 10krpm
artic 600w psu
only use my pc for gaming so dont think i need a dual

In SLI you start to see some tangible benefits from dual core, you'd be better off with a 3800x2 (great clockers) or an Opteron 165, a single core opteron wouldnt be a big upgrade for you.
