It Won't Fit said the actress to the vicar.

I bought a CM RL-N24M-24PK-R1

The case I have is quite big and has the fan holes at the top of the case, problem is it won't fit because the ram and heatsinks on the mobo is in the way.

Can anyone recommend a good case that will fit this fan? or am I best to return and buy a full case and watercool kit?

Thanks in advance.

What case is it?

It's a gaming case I bought off the rainforest about 3 months ago.

Competitor link.

I have seen the ones in the "Watercooling section" are these just bare cases because they seem quite expensive for a bit of extra room.

That's the inside and as you can see the ATX rear plate is at the top, there is enough room to put some fans in but not the radiator/fans

I see.

Hmmmm.

New case or swap the cooler for a normal heatsink.

Decisions, Decisions.

Would there be any real benefit to getting a "Prebuilt" watercooled case over a new "Watercool Ready" case? I would obviously send the cooler back if I got the prebuilt one, but which would be better in your opinion Stulid?

If you enjoy doing things yourself then just buy a case that has watercooling designed into it. Lots and lots to choose from.
Thanks for the answers,

So it's either;

£264

or

https://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=CA-007-BX&groupid=2362&catid=2280
£119

Basically adding £145 for the watercooler kit, but I would get a £80 refund on the cooler I already have.

My question should have been, "Is it worth £65 more to have the prebuilt kits?"

Thanks in advance.

Err Antec P100 should fit it.

NZXT S340 but if you have an optical drive then you cant fit that.

Theres loads to pick from.

Does it have to have a green glow? NZXT H440 come in green and black or the Razor limited edition.

There are lots of case available and you dont even have to spend over £100 to get one that fits the coolermaster cooler and all your stuff inside.

Thanks again Stulid. I was under the impression it had to be a "Watercooled" case. I just need to look at the location of the rear faceplate and if it has more than a few inches, it's a good one.

Thanks everyone for all the advice.

I had chosen the Antec P100, headed off in the direction of OC and forgot the name and product code, found the Corsair 330R (Looks the same) and bought that

Gutted I overpaid £20 for the same case but it would cost more than £20 to swap it.

It works a charm, as you would expect. all the cables tucked away neatly and the radiator is fitted, CPU running between 27 and 30 degrees!

Its very noisy (The CPU Cooler). The case has a lid on it which covers the radiator outlet. I am guessing that can't be on whilst its running or it wouldn't get rid of the hot air? is that only there if you are not running a cooler? I have had to put the radiator fans into a 3 pin fan plug (PWRFAN) as I only have 1 CPUFAN socket, so plugged the watercool system into that, and the exhaust fans are running at full speed all the time.

Thanks again for the advice, I will be back soon enough asking about CPU, Ram and Mobo to complete my upgrade.
