Oracle Experts?

Anyone experience with oracle? got myself an interesting one and not having worked with it before im a bit stumped

essentially we have pcs hosting oracle databases, which are going to be changing domain. was told this will be fine nothing should really go wrong (Bulls**t)

after the machine changes domain the db doesnt function at all, anyone had this before?

its actually working fine, installing it fresh on the machine is no problem, just swapping the domain with it on their

I'm with the person who told you you should have no problem. I can't imagine why this would be the case. Does it work locally?
Edit: Remotely, you may have an issue with tnsnames.ora - make sure they are pointing to correct place still.

If it's changed domain, then surely its fully-qualified name has changed and the database may well not like that. Change the domain back and make sure it can still work as before.
