Orange and my private E-Mail WTF?

So i've changed to Orange because of the cheaper international phone calls and so on...

I open my mail client to try use my personal e-mail, no settings at all changed and it doesn't let me send an e-mail?

Anyone have any idea what's going on? Why would I want to set my SMTP server to orangehome?

Is it something to do with the gaybox you get for internet and phone calls?

all out going mail has to go via orange smtp so they can reduce spam

So I can't actually use my e-mail like i'm wanting to and i'll have to use webmail? Or have I misunderstood...

Yeah, you can't use an SMTP server other than Orange's.
