Hello all,

I have never moved my number before so i haven't really got a clue what happens.

Anyway, I have got a PAC issue by Orange so that i can shift my number to T-Mob when the phone turns up. Once i have given the PAC to T-Mob, what will happen to my Orange account? I assume it will then get cancelled and Orange will not take a full months rental?

Can anyone give me hints of what to expect!?

Cheers

T-mobile should have given you a port date. On this day your number switches from Orange onto T-Mobile. How long the actual port takes varies. Sometimes it takes a while, so you'll have to bank on not having both phone for that day. Other times it takes mins. Its wierd. SMS/MMS/GPRS may not work until the day after.

Thats all really. Your Orange number should die on the port date, and come back with T-Mobile. Orange will send you a final bill for whatever you owe them, typically up until your port date. Pay money and goodbye Orange. Then spend the money you've saved on something fun. Possibly sellotape. :D
