orange box question, not TF2

hi i played HL2 up until the beach and never went back to it, is it worth playing eps1+ 2 if i haven't finished HL2?

are any of the games in said box DX10? ish

Yes its worth it, but why not go back and finish hl2 first.
And no the Source engine isn't dx10

To be honest, if you didnt like HL2 enough to finish it then the ex packs probably arent going to do much for you either. Give HL2 another look, if you find yourself enjoying it then go for it. Plus i cant recommend TF2 highly enough

I still haven't finished hl2 either, I got to a bit on a speed boat thing and each time I tried getting past that section it would make me feel seriously ill :\. This doesn't happen on other FPS's.
