Orange, cost of sending a text to a mobile abroad

I have searched and cannot find the answer, I was wondering if anyone would know?

How much does it cost, on an orange pay monthly contract, to send a text message, from the UK (this country, I am not roaming), to a T-Mobile customer who is on holiday abroad in Portugal?

Is it the same cost as sending texts asif I was abroad?

I should possibly note that i get unlimited free texts

It will be free as you cannot possibly know the other number is abroad. The charge would be unfair.

Also T-Mobile won't charge the recipient in Portugal to receive the text.

Nope, if you send an SMS from the UK to a UK mobile when it is abroad, it will come out of your unlimited text allowance. There is no additional charge

There is no charge for the person receiving as well.

The only difference is when the person on T-Mobile responds to you, they will pay 11p
