Orange Monte Carlo

I think there judging overall, including cost etc, and I think wrt price/performance/features it's justifiably 1st

The ZTE Blade (San Fran) was popular because of it, and the Skate (OMC) is it's newer bigger brother

I think Dave is right even though he can't count :D

Don't knock it till you try it. Everything is on a budget - The screen is crap, sound crap but performance is relatively good whereas the SGII sits there wasting juice with its 2 cores

I don't like cheap crap, so what's the problem?

What do you mean about wasting juice? Please elaborate.

I don't wasting my dollars on something that will be extinct in 6 months time either :p

At least the depreciation on the OMC is going to be a lot less than an SGII. Juice as in battery life

You know dual-core is actually good for the battery, right?

So your logic is to never buy anything nice as it will be replaced at some point? How odd.

No I didn't, please elaborate as my SG2 sucked ****

Well firstly the dual core chips are made on a smaller process so are inherently more efficient.

If memory serves me the Galaxy S1 had a single core made on 45nm process where as the S2 has 2 cores made on a 40nm. I could be slightly off on exact numbers but I cba to search :D

Secondly they have the possibility of reducing the amount of CPU clocks taken to complete a task and as such using less battery but this is entirely software dependant.
