I've always wanted a Ms Isle, as I was saving to build one up back in the day but never got around to it.

I'm looking around now and they seem to be going for around £350 for a hydraulic specced beast, but I'm wondering whether I should look to getting something newer now as things have moved forward.
I know the geometry on the Ms Isle isn't ideal for arsing about, but seeing as I have such stumpy legs (28 inch at 5ft 9!) I'd imagine it'd actually be quite comfy for me?

Thoughts?

That's the trouble, heart over head.
I'd love one as I've always wanted one, but don't want to buy a giant paperweight really.

Mainly going go be pootling along doing a bit of XC to get myself back into things, but used to love mangling some downhill sections in my youth. Probably a free ride spec be best?

I loved the look of it back when it first came out, it didn't look like a fragile little thing like my old bikes Lol

On One Carbon 456 also tickled my fancy, but that'd be a big build.

Main reason I was looking at cheap Ms Isles was they seem to be decent spec and solid for a budget that is BSO territory normally...
