Orange Sim in Vodaphone Phone?

I have recently received a new Samsung Z500, from a friend, which used to be on a Vodaphone contract which has now ran out. The new phone has replaced my Samsung E720 which is from Orange. I have taken the SIM out of my E720 and placed it into my Z500. But, strangely, I am unable to send text messages. I have browsed through the phone setup but with no avail.

So are there any network settings for example I may need to change to allow the crossover from the Orange to the Vodaphone phone?

I think you need to change setings for mms not sure about sms, go to the orange website and send the settings, either that or ring em

You'll need the message centre number, should be under messages>>settings>>SMS

The number you need is +447973100973
