orange sim to micro sim

hi guys does anyone know if i can just change my sons sim to a micro sim to stick in a iPhone 4 or are they still charging extra to do this ,or is it easier to just cut the sim down .

You could cut the sim. That's what I did for my iPad. However it was a spare PAYG sim. Not sure I'd take the chance of being without my contract sim for a few days though.

Can't you just order a new sim from your network? The should do it for free surely?

go into a shop and ask for one / Phone them up. Should be free.

Just cut it, it's really not difficult. Granted I have a SIM cutter tool, but I needed to do my GFs SIM the other day and did it by hand.

cost me £10 to get t-mobile to convert micro sim to normal sim (iphone to Galaxy note)

only to have sold the note 2 weeks later for a S3 so used my cutter tool to go micro again lol

This time, keep the "blank" you cut off from around the "micro" sim.

Place "micro" sim back in blank and use a bit of parcel tape = instant regular SIM.
