Hmmm it sounds a cool tarrif (although 18months sounds a bit long...)

MY Problem if I may :

Upgraded phone last August - Tarrif YP 120 (minutes) + 250 Texts... cool I thought does me ... £25 (+ £5 insurance)

Got my bill yesterday .. £68! - hmmm no text messages on ... phoned Orange they said texts were promotion .. never said that in the shop - feel stoopid now ... but angry gggrrrr....

Phoned to change tarrif - they can do 100 mins + 100 texts for £25 but wont start till next month!! grrrr....

So Im thinking sell this W800 - pay the contract off @ £125 (hmmm W800 worth £150 maybe ??? ) ... anyways see my point....

Just wondering what Tmobile are like... always been Orange... but they annoy me when they never seem bothered to upgrade you... always better to cancel and join again.. in fact they always do this with my dad!

The main thing is ... can text or phone ... different amounts each month.. sounds really cool - and I guess 18 in that bad if tarrif suits.... what about changing a phone ? you have to wait 18 months ???

also there insurance - I dont claim for fun at all - in fact maybe 2 times in 8/9 years... theres any good ? Orange are always helpful to be honest...So decisions decisions..... any thoughts chaps ?

Im really a texter to be honest - 300-400/month then upto 30 mins... can never talk at work ya see....

No swearing, read the FAQ.

hmmm my apologies for the `swear` word... was certainly meant as tongue in cheek ... but can see now it would cause offense.

after looking at endless reviews of the 8800 (while suspended :( ) Im really unsure which phone to get now !

Anybody like the 8800 ?
just as a PHONE - to be honest dont really use camera etc that much and have an mp3 player....

8800's on T-Mobile are like gold dust.
I have one, I love it to bits. Its pretty much everything I want in a phone. Only real issue is battery life. If you leave BT on 24x7 it tends to suck the battery. If your a heavy users, you'll struggle to have it lasting you the day. But if you need a phone, that looks good, the 8800 is it. Its also pretty hardy, it takes a lot to scratch it, I mean a lot.

If you honest about, there are phones that do what the 8800 does, and do it better if your after features. If your looking for a phone that looks "good", and stays looking good, and is a little bit "exclusive" then its the choice for you. Look at it like that.

hmmmm still holding out at the moment - aint sold my K750i yet ---- still not sure on the new phone from Tmobile !

Would like something different to the W800 to be honest.... does anybody know whether there are any new phones coming to Tmobile shortly ???

Thanks in advance.... oh ... and does it state anywhere how long the 25% discount will last for on FlexT ?

go for the 8800, solid handset, built well, looks the shiz and works perfectly, the battery life can be lame at times but thats why the darn thing comes with 2 batterys!

Just called to confirm with t-mobile how long the 25% discount will be running for and was informed til the end of March. Their offers change every month. I did attempt to ask what the new offer was but the women didn't know.

i have a mate who works in my local t-mobile shop and they're telling people end of march but it could run into april as well with the 25% off. they just don't know.

luckily my orange contract finishes on the 26th so i'll be going back to t-mobile (had 2 good years with them before my year with orange) on their flext 35 plan which is a steal at £26.25!

Im pretty sure its end of April - I doubt a salesperson is gonna tell you an offer gonna run longer than advertised if it means you delaying your purchase - so no doubt its natural for them to say end of March.

Also looking at the last few offers (e.g. 50% extra for 6/9months) they ran for 2 months aswell...

Sorry bit O/T but does anyone think t-mobile will have N80 by then, because I want it on flext and the discount is nice?
Would sacrifice a family member if that happens!!!
