I have been a loyal Nildram customer form any years but am tempted to take up the free Orange Wanadoo service (my mobile phone is already more than £30/month so the broadband will be free).

Will I notice much change in my service? My core reason for choosing Nildram was for solid, reliable pings to game servers. These days I guess all ISPs can provide this. I use about 2-3Gb per month.

I'm pretty sure the limit is 2gb per month, make sure you look into what happens if you go over that in case there is some ridiculous fee like £10 per gb

You shouldn't notice any difference to the service ie speeds/ping etc.

if you have a £30 contract you can get the 2gb capped package for free, which may not be the best if you do a lot of online gaming, or you can get the unlimited package for £10 a month (normal price £27.99)

Orange don't charge you if you per gb if you go over the 2gb limit, if you only exceed it occassionally they won't be bothered, however if you continue to exceed it they will advise you to regrade to a higher package.

Working in orange broadband tech I've had a few customers on the 2gb package who were downloading anywhere between 200 and 500gb per month. If this happens we will send you a letter advising you to cut down on your usage or change package, if you don't you'll get another letter informing you that your account is to be closed.

Any other questions just ask....
