Hi all,

Just wondering if anyone was able to get me an orange wednesday code that I could use please! :cool:

I will give you all my internetz and be eternally grateful.
 
Oh dear I hope not.

I also have a bad feeling that I remember someone talking about asking for these wasn't allowed on here anymore. If not please close the thread mods and accept my apology!

Psh, no reason why they wouldn't be. No one is profiting from giving them. Lots of ways around cinemas forcing it to be an orange phone. Just save your number as 'Orange' or whatever the name says when you get the proper text and write the message as Orange would and then send it to yourself.

This is exactly what I would do. I shouldn't think it would matter anyway, unless you get some jobsworth on the counter :p
 
Oh it seems you have to show the text message when you get there according to some people in my office.

how does orange send it though?
 
If you find out the number that Orange sends the code from and what message they write - get your partner to text you it and change their name to the number from where Orange send it to you. Job done :)
 
You should be fine with the forwarded SMS. My ***** mate text's me every Wednesday for a code without fail. I forward the text and he's never had a problem.
 
Agreed. Do it for my mates too and not a problem.

Whenever I have used the code they don't even check my or my girlfriends phone and we simply read the code out to them
 
My cinema just ask for the number to be read out, but haven't been on Orange wednesdays for a few months. Don't see why it matters - someone on Orange has paid the 50p or whatever for the code, Orange has their money, it's not like the code is being used more than once...
 
i regularly give my wednesday code to my friend who uses it..

sorry its a bit late now.. but next week if anyones interested pm me.. i hardly use them
 
Always have read the code out to them when a friend has sent it through. As others said though, just rename whoever sent it to what Orange call themselves. If they get in a paddy that it's not an "Orange" phone, just say its unlocked, and also tell them they have no business in asking anyway - it's not their problem and shouldn't demand such information as they aren't employed by Orange.
 
Me and the bf did it and we're both on Vodafone. His mum just forwarded the text and she wrote it down on a sheet of paper. Have fun ;)
