Hey,

Looking to get a SIM-free HTC Hero and using it with my current Orange contract SIM (£9 a month, 200 mins, unlimited txts). Having looked at the bundles for Orange world according to http://www1.orange.co.uk/entertainme...WorldCosts.php I should be able to add the monthly £7.34 for the anytime mobile internet access with an FUP of 250mb which should be fine.

But when I look on the "your account" section on the Orange site and select to change my bundles the only bundles available are £8 for 30mb and for 80mb its £41!!!!

Are these prices due to my low cost contract or just the online bundles section not being up to date? No point me getting the new phone if I can barely use it for web stuff.

Any help appreciated

Thanks

Russ

Called them up and have been given 500mb anytime for £5 a month. Weird thing is she first offered 500mb evening and weekends for £5, when I questioned it asking about the £7.34 anytime bundle she said "oh hang on, we have a new bundle available" which was the 500mb anytime for £5?!

Why would both of them exist?! I'm interested to see what pops up on my bill hmmmmmm

I have the £5/month 500mb anytime, got it with my upgrade back in january over the phone. if you were told 500mb anytime then that's what should say on your bill as that's what it says on my, but I found that for the first few months it didn't show how much of it I'd used/had in my account online tho it shows it now.

I've also noticed over he last 2 bit years that they don't have 'unlim'(was 250mb now 500mb) anytme bundle on the 'your account' section.

I know they were offering it for £5 to new customer/upgraders but I'm neither, lets hope she keeps to her word but I'll be double checking before my Hero arrives

I just phoned up to see what packages were available..unlimited weekend and evening for £5 p/m, didnt say how many mb though. And 7.50 or something for anytime unlimited and £10 for 1 gig unlimited

I'm neither an upgrade or new customer tho, quite a few months into my package now unfortunately..not sure how I can haggle for a better deal?
