they take you money knowing they cannot get the stock, its a joke, on 14th Oct i was position 465, 23rd Oct position is 439, it took 9 days to do 26 orders, based on that i will get my order around March 2021.

they shouldn't take any more preorders in this situation.
and they shouldn't charge people in full when there is no stock and no stock arrival estimate.
no body else is doing this.
Well they are. Why shouldn't they? A pre-order is exactly what it says on the tin. You order something they don't have.
And again, they don't "take" peoples money. People give it and then cry about their decision as if it was the only one they could make

Jesus wept the sense of entitlement over these cards is hilarious.

No one has forced anyone to pre order this garbage, and anyone with any modicum of intelligence would see this paper launch for what it is.

Vote with your wallets people

It should be a deposit system really. But for that to work properly Nvidia/AIB's should have come in with some decent allocations of stock to begin with. So OCUK gets 500 of x card and can sell 500 pre-orders as an example. I paid £5 for for a PS5 pre-order and pay the remainder of the balance on the PS5's arrival at Curry's. Which seems pretty reasonable right?

Basically there are a lot of things creating this perfect storm:

*The FOMO is real
*There wasn't/isn't enough stock
*It was a paper launch despite them saying otherwise
*No real anti scalping measures in place
*People can't get enough of new shiny things

However, despite this we'll all be back to buy them next time round... :D (I say we, but i don't have the money to right now and don't particularly need a new card for what i play. We as in the enthusiast we. I just wished consumer power was a thing and we voted with our wallets.)
