Order Suspended Query

Not from ocuk, but a reputable sports supplier.

I placed an order online, now my details are correct, and the payment has been removed though it's not showing by who just that it's gone.

Anyway i got this email today, didn't bother registering with my middle name, do you think that's the cause?

I apologise for any inconvenience caused but we have received a notification from our Bank to let us know that when we processed your payment the details submitted did not match with the details held on record with your card issuer, and the payment was suspended.

Your order is still on hold, could you please confirm the billing address you used and also let me know if the card is registered to this address? I look forward to hearing from you shortly, but in the meantime please let me know if you need any additional information or if I can assist any further in this matter.
 
It says what the issue is, addresses don't match up.

Middle name has never made a difference for me, never use it. Although it is on the card.
 
See that's odd because the address is right.

Unless i needed to fill in both the billing and shipping address.

I did just the one this morning, so perhaps the problem lies there?

They needed confirmation of both before shipping out?

They say the bank has suspended, but i find that doubtful as the payment has gone, so im guessing it's them having just the one address is the issue.
 
I've had something like this before. The address had to the one they sent my statements too. I mean it was the same address but they didn't have my county in it where I normally do put it in.
 
Right then all sorted, apparently in all these years my bank had my address with one line missing.

So duly corrected the mistake, and fired the supp company an email, so come tomorrow all should be fine.
