Ordered 360 but have a question or 5

Yeah im gunna have to buy a 10m ethernet cable today

i noticed that the '20gb' HDD supplied only has 13/14gb free space on it ? i deleted some of the preinstalled adverts but im still miffed that ive lost 6gb of space some where, anyone know what takes up all that space ? :confused:
 
My advice :)

FPS /online - Rainbow 6:vegas or Call of Duty 3, both are great online and single player. I found gears had too many gobby yanks which killed it off for me online.

The Wife - Splinter cell:DA and Hitman, loved both and yet never liked any of the other Splinter Cell games?(seems a lot more opened ended on what to do)
 
get Rainbow Six Vegas :D its amazing single player, then get the vision camera and map your face onto your online character and continue the fun online :D

one of the best games i've got tbh - and my girlfriend loves to play it too! (which completely suprised me!)
 
Played abit of GOW last night and downloaded the vegas demo , if truth be told im stuggling alittle with the control pad handling,mainly when in aim mode and having to use the opposite stick to move the crosshair around , but im sure i'll get used to it eventually :)

Ive swapped the controllers to 'southpaw' now and its much much better even tho im right handed lol ? :confused: :D , u fellas were right vegas is very good :)
 
Ive been looking at a few more games and wondered what u guys think i should get

Im after a racing game but not a racing sim , something myself and the wife/daughter can play along the lines of a mario kart type of game if that even exists on the 360 ?

also im looking at a tennis game , virtua or top spin ? again i prefer an arcade feeling game to a realism/sim kind of game, pes6 or fifa ? is fifa the one with the real player name s? if so i'd prolly prefer that :)

last but not least ive been looking for a 'worms' game for the 360 , i know i can buy one off XBL marketplace but thought i'd be able to get one on disc but cant seem to find one, im i better off getting the marketplace one ?

Burnout Revenge would be perfect

PES any time, but not the 360 version....it lakced the meat of PES. fifa was better on the 360 than pes, btu on other consoles it can kiss PES boots. next year PES shoudl be much better so try PES next year. PES always consenrates on the gamplay, where as fifa the loosk and licenses. why buy a footie game if he gameplay sux?

Despite loving Burnout: Revenge I wouldn't recommend it for casual family entertainment. I'd get PGR3. It's less 'intense'. Burnout can be unforgiving and a tad 'violent' in respect of smashing your opponents off cliffs etc. If your daughter is quite young you could also try 'Cars'. My mate got it for his two boys (under 6s) and they all had a blast.

Tennis: I played Top Spin and it was pretty good (I however was pretty rubbish) or you have Virtua Tennis which I haven't played but has a good reviews.

Football: http://forums.overclockers.co.uk/showthread.php?t=17733038 The people voted for PES6.

Worms: Get the demo of marketplace.
