Ordered a opteron 144....what to expect

Hi guys,

Just ordered a 144 (b grade stock- hope its ok).

I was wondering, with a DFI Ultra D + Some of that Black Mushkin PC4000 ram, what clock speed can I expect to get out of it. I'm a bit concerned that someone sent it back as faulty because it was a duff clocker....!

I'm talking about a minimum here- I'd be happy with anything over 2.2Ghz really.

So whats, what can i expect with stock hsf?

Don't want to rain on the parade, but most of the optys which have been sent back were purely because they were not the batch they wanted. So of all the thing's I'd buy b-grade an opty would not be one.

Fingers crossed for you tho

If you're afterr 2.2Ghz tho, then either way you shouldn't have a problem. Even the worst batch of optys, the cabge, were still going 2.4 - 2.6ghz with the right matching board and ram. So as long as the chip is fully working you should be sweet.
