Bit of an impulse buy, but it seems to be highly regarded and I've already got a 913N monitor which I'm more than pleased with so far, I thought I'd have another samsung. It arrives tomoz morning so I'll have a play and report back. I was going to get one of thise belinea 22" screens, but I like the idea of DVI and VGA connections and I coul'dn't wait :D . I've read a bit regarding the apparent "back light bleed" on the SM225BW, so I'll check it out and report back as to wether its a problem or not.
If anyone has any queries regarding this monitor, I'll do me best to answer them.

Hi would like to know about input lag, your general feeling and compared to the 913N

Thanks

I've had this screen for a few weeks now.

More then happy with it!

There is a little back light bleed, but nothing that effects it too badly.

It's great for gaming.

Superb screen.

General feeling is very good with this screen, very clear, very sharp. Is too bright when first turned on and a bit washed out (though still very good). after fiddling with the settings, its greatly improved, very nice colour reproduction.
I fired up farcry and to say its immersive is an understatement, looks superb and as far as I can tell, no lag or ghosting, just like the 913N only wider :D
I tried COH and its the same as above, more immersive, explosions look great, etc. I've found I have to sit further back to "see" the entire image properly which is nice also.
backlight bleed is only very slight top and bottom with none at the sides, less than my old 913N I'd say.
With regard to viewing angles theres more "washout" vertically than there is horizontally, but this doesn't bother me at all, I bought this screen to look at straight on, not from the sides, but from the sides its fine up to a point anyway, no probs there I'd say.
The tilting screen is nice, but the height adjustment is a real good idea, means I can leave all the components (printer, modem, etc in place and the screen sits above them.
All in all I'd say this is a cracking monitor, with both DVI and VGA which is real boon.
With regards to connecting to a Skybox, I haven't got a clue as I don't have sky installed, but if you can get a lead that connects from your sky box to either the DVI or VGA connector on the screen, then I reckon it'll work. The guys over on "avforums" would almost certainly be able to inform you correctly on that one.
