ordered a Sony Walkman A Series NWZ-A845 16GB

bit impulsive but meh I thought its stonking value at £115 delivered. god knows when it will get here. The A series is so much cheaper than the X series it replaces, no touch screen but no biggie. Was thinking of the 32gb model (esp if you started putting video content on...) but its £200 in the UK I hardly ever use PMP's these days either...so wanted some effective per £

noise cancelling using the supplied, good, in ear headphones. can't wait to get some peace on planes/trains!

Looks nice.

I have an A818. Have had it maybe 3 years now. Admittedly, 8GB doesn't seem big enough now, but I don't use it a great deal, and 8GB is enough really to have a nice selection of music that I can use random shuffle on. Ooh, and it's great for listening to audio books on!

Got this last week

very nice soundquality that demolishes any ipod (i've owned two)

noise cancelling is nice and actually works, will be a godsend on planes.

build quality is fine, screen nice to look at.

easy to use, drag and drop

hearing things in songs i've not heard before, included headphones are great

£130 now but still a bargain IMO
