Ordered for my first build!

Ordered the parts for my first build yesterday, I ordered them at 12:30, so DPD should have them to me for tomorrow (Monday) morning right?

Anyway, I'm making this thread to post Pics of my build and to ask for any help if I need it tomorrow.

It went up to £560 as I replaced the SeaGate Barracueda (however you spell it) with the Windows 7 OEM bundle. This is because I discovered Software4Students only do upgrades, not retail versions, and I only have one copy of Windows (Vista) on my laptop which I need.

I got the confirmation of shipment at 2:30 yesterday.

Ta for all your help, my Dad decided to give me the money after all.

Just got my stuff. DPD deleivered it bag on time, props to them. Will post pics later on tonight and I may build. It depends.

First question! There are spongy meshy bits on my brive bay covers, should i take them off, they're quite thin and tear when i try and take them off.

The one on the top practically fell off when i opened the case, what shoud i do, try and glue it back into place?

What I've done is taped it to the top of the case, is actually on top of the case so it can't fall, it doesnt's look pretty but its practical. I'll get some fans when I can afford it then I can use the fans to resecure the mesh.

For screwing in the motherboard, do I use the smaller threaded screws or the thicker threaded screws?

On the front panel connectors, one pin says S and an arrow, the other says G. Which ones positive and which ones negative?

I have a AC'97 Plug and an HD AUDIO plug, similar to the case USB plugs, no idea, where they go.

Okay, I finished the build, plugged the hdmi into the graphics card and my tv, plugged the supply into the wall, turned it on, the pc turns on, I forgot to put the speaker in :/, all 4 phase lights turn on, but then I get no display in my tv. Any help is appreciated thanks!

I wasn't able to set the time and date, the BIOS made me load an operating system from the hard disk straight away. Can I go back in after it restarts?
