Ordered some stuff from alibaba and specifically asked the seller to send it via DHL.
Found out today that the seller send it via Evre when it arrives here in the uk, I don't know the courier from china to the uk but when it arrives here it is going to Evre.
The item cost around 300 and it is DAP, so duty etc needs to be paid here and I don't have any experience on how evre is gonna handle the due fees, it is easy with DHL as they just send and email or txt on how to pay the associated fees and after they deliver the item but have no idea with evre.

Anybody experience anything similar with this on Evre courier?

I wouldn't worry evri will loose your package anyway.
Last time evre delivered something to the upstairs neighbor and later that night the guy from the corner came and was asking if we got his package from evre and he even got a photo of our door # as proof of delivery from evri, crazy now I'm anxious.

What goods are they? And did they provide a commodity code?
It is electrical stuff, I don't know with this seller if they know the commodity code.
I think they rely on the courier to do this for them.
Last time my order that was with dhl all the document was provided by dhl (inc the commodity code) and the only document that I got from the seller is the shipping label.

The parcel is now in the UK and from the tracking it looks like the shipping was handled by CY UK ltd.
According to there site the company started in 2007 doing logistics, UK customs things.
There site is flag by firefox as potential security risk.

Any one has dealt with this company before?

Not dealt with the company but the website will be flagged because its not https but its a chinese import / export business. Look them up on companies house. They seem to be doing ok.

AliExpress uses a third party called Cainiao who in turn use Evri to deliver the package once it passes UK customs.
