ordered from ebay came from amazon wtf?

Why would Amozon ban an account that getting them 300 sales a month? .

Exactly. Everyone saying it's against Prime T&C, sure, but why would Amazon ban an account that's making hundreds of purchases a month with (as surmised) little to no returns due to the nature of the items?

Everyone's a winner, apart from the OP who didn't search around enough :p

Though, since this is probably someone doing it on the side, I would imagine the profit is not being declared....so no tax is being paid. But that's a different discussion :p

Although it's sneaky, that eBay seller is a genius. I should start doing this even if it's only a couple of quid made. It all adds up and pays for a night out.

That seller is selling Roundup weed killer for £25 when it's only £20 on Amazon as I was looking for the stuff the other day.

Give it a go* if you have the time to set it up.

Disclaimer: I helped code some of the routines / API's, however I no longer have any involvement or financial interest in the above software.

Edit - Forgot it's not set up for UK listings yet - there is other software out there that does the same thing though.

This is indeed drop shipping and is far from uncommon, very clever of the seller, he's making a small - but sizeable over time - profit from people like the OP who don't bother or want to spend time researching purchases.

Leaving negative feedback seems way out of order, I trust the next time you order from a supplier and the parcel comes direct from the manufacturer you'll complain!

The volume of such shipments is increasing exponentially, and the reason I've been trundling between Amazon depots tonight, along with many many other trucks, Royal Mail & Hermes included, it's how Amazon "fulfilment" works.

I am sure the seller isnt the first to do this, but a great idea.

Personally no issue with this.

If I go and buy X item from a retailer A, and then find out later that I could have purchased it at retailer B for a couple of quid less. I dont go back to retailer A going nuts and then resorting to keyboard warriors strategies on mumsnet to moan about it.

LOL@OP

I bought something from eBay and it came shipped from Amazon but the price on the 'bay was lower than the price on Amazon (and from the same seller too) I checked the prices beforehand. Not complaining but it was strange.

The guy was clearly doing it all wrong!

The negative feedback was out of order.

OP if you're that mad, why not copy his ebay for sale list, subtract £0.01 from each item, sign up to Prime & list them all yourself? Business yo.
