As above, I just ordered all the bits I need to make my new gaming rig. This is going to be my first build and I can't wait to get stuck in! 
Spec list is as follows:
Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600
Gigabyte GA_P35_DS4 (I wanted the Abit IP35 Pro, but I have no idea when to expect new stock to come in
)
4GB (4x1GB) Crucial Ballistix DDR2 PC2-5300C3 667MHz
Sapphire ATI Radeon X1950 Pro 512MB (Only £88, and will hopefully last me until Nvidia releases the G92 GPUs)
2x Western Digital Caviar SE16 400GB 4000AAKS SATA-II 16MB Cache - OEM

Came to a total of around £1280 including VAT + Delivery, after shopping around a little, and lets just say I didn't qualify for a 'free' OcUK pen
Parts should start arriving next week, and I absolutely can't wait. Please let me know if you have any advice/questions about my new build or if I've missed anything out.
