I must enjoy the game since I played the demo twice through now... so I pulled the trigger and ordered the game today. Should be here in a week or so. Anyone else buying this game? :)

I'll wait till it comes through on my rental list, from the demo it seemed dissapointing so I'm not wasting £40 on it.

Looking forward to this game myself, i quite enjoyed the demo and played it a few times:p.

Havent had any shipping confirmation from gameplay but then im not too worried as i just Lord of the rings delivered this morning, so going to have to find time to play all these games. Still havent completed most of my other games tbh.

Loaded the demo on 2 occasions. First tiem I turned it off before I'd left the bar. Second time I made it until the old Indian guy got killed. What a dull game. Yet another run of the mill FPS, that offers nothing new.

Might get this for the PC as it will be a whole lot cheaper than the 360 version and i wasnt that struck by the game so dont wanna waste any extra cash

I felt the same way about the Tomb Raider series.

Absolutely nothing is new in Prey? Did you miss the rather new anti-mavity walls? Not that this alone is going to sell the game but it is something different. It also makes multiplayer a lot of fun.

Demo was absolutely superb, but i've heard some awful things about the full game. I'll give it a rent.

Gamespot gave it 7.5/10, btw. A score that seems to sum up the general feeling towards the game.

So in other words you stopped just short of what sets prey aside from the other FPS on the market. - The mavity walkways and the portals do play a large part in this game.

I saw those as 2 gimmicks, every FPS has their own which 'set them aside'. Whoooo, I can walk on walls, big deal. You still end up kicking objects around with your shins to move them into position - when the hell are we going to get past basic stuff like this?

It really didnt get me excited to be playing it whatsoever, and I was looking forward to it being 'the' FPS game of the year.
