So I just checked my last order and ordered some avexir ram 4 sticks thinking it was 2 lots of dual channel too see its actually quad channel, my order hasn't been dispatched yet so was wondering will quad channel ram work on my GA-Z87X-OC mobo as 2 dual channels or should I phone up oc in the morning and get it changed to dual channel.

Its just 4 sticks of DDR3 RAM should work fine.
The only consideration afaik is if your going for extreme OCing having less dimm sockets populated can help to get higher clocks.
EDIT: Obviously limits your upgrade potential as you'd have no RAM slots free so you'd have to swap it all out for higher density modules rather than just stick another matching set in.
