Ordered something but accidentally included the wrong county

So I ordered some stuff for my fish tank and somehow PayPal has included part of my old address in with the new. The street, town, city and post code are all correct, but it also has 'South Yorkshire' in there.

The package was meant to arrive Saturday via Royal Mail but hasn't turned up. Am I right in assuming Royal Mail would have sent it straight to the South Yorkshire sorting centre and will send it back once they see the error? Or is it lost forever? :o

Cheers.

Thanks

I'll hold off buying more and wait a while then. Was just a bit worried as it should have been here already!

It's a proper shop so should hopefully have a return address on it anyway.

Its pretty much just the postcode and house name/number these days isnt it?

Loads of sites thats all the information i need to give for them to find the address so i'd assume the royal mail should be able to do the same.

Postcode will be fine.

I still see postal stuff with Avon listed as the county, 20 years after it stopped existing.
