Ordered something - Not charged for it?

On Sunday evening I placed an order with a well known computer memory manufacturer. The next day I checked my bank account and the correct amount showed up (about 190quid) under "CARD AUTH" description which it always shows for new transactions until later on when it describes better what it was for.

I checked again later on, and it had vanished , and the 190 quid was now not taken out of my account. Its now Thursday, I got the memory 2 days ago, and still on my online bank account, nothing shows up.

Is this just a case of how the company bills its customers or what?

Leave it in there. Dont touch it. If they want it, they'll take it. After two weeks, if no result. Then spend it.

I paid for a car by Switch last year. It took them a couple of weeks to take the money, I thought I'd got away with £14k for a bit n'all
