Hi there,

Usually people post here before they buy the rig - but oh well...

Personally I would have suggested going for a 8GB (2x4GB kit) like this, so you put less strain on the memory controller and have the option of installing more RAM in the future.

Also, I would have suggested going with the P8P67 PRO, it has all the important features of the Deluxe board - but costs £22 less.

The rest looks good. Good luck with the build.

Thanks a lot for your feedback. Much appreciated.

From a final output point of view,, I could not agree with you more.
2x 4GB sticks would make less stress / heat for the case.
and I would have saved 20 notes on the board. ( the bois interface alone is worth 20 notes to me. I love it :D )

However. And your all going to hate me for this...

They look pretty :P

The blue of the board matches all the blues on the ram, which in turn will look very nice with tubing for the WC rig going in next month.

I attend private lan's a lot, and we all like having the build look nice. So after some careful weighing up I decided I could spare myself a few looks over brains parts.

Ill also be swapping out all the fans for LED blue as well, which is probably going to loose me a deg or 2.

Its good to know that you picked strait up on the only 2 issues I had with the build. But again. Sexy pc is sexy :D

I used to be a very hardcore its just the numbers.

But I sort of got the bug about 2 years ago. From my research the final implications are very minimal, but visually it makes such a world of difference. So im happy with my choice.

the " hardcorians " will disagree, but each to there own :D

again, thank for the feedback.

I understand the Pro also has less lanes for PCIE, and I will probably be upping this to an SLi configuration next month when i do the watercooling ( depending on how well others get the chips to respond ) I may be wrong on that, as ill admit my research was limited.
