Where is the best place to order flowers on the web for delivery?

I normally use something like Inter-Flora but they are exceptionally expensive!

GD gets worse, even the mods are at it.

My mother used to say "if you have nothing useful to say then dont say it"

If you dont know where to order flowers from, then dont post, how hard is that?

It was a perfectly viable suggestion, I could always delete your worthless thread if you'd prefer :)

next, M&S all do decent online flower delivery...

I always find tho that sometimes its best finding an independent, local to where you want them delivered to (using Yell.co.uk or similar), and call them up. Normally get better value (less money/more flowers) but i guess the quality varies more too...

No it wasnt ! I asked where to "order them over the web" even the title says it, so you didnt accidentally wander into the thread thinking it was something else.

because that would be the mature and sensible thing to do?

Also you can't see what flowers you are ordering, which is fine if you know what you want but can be difficult if you have no idea :)

You complained about the cost. The best way to keep the cost down is to find a local shop and call them instead of ordering over the web. This makes it a viable suggestion.

As your response to my viable suggestion was?

definately true... tho generally you could specify a core group of flowers, and trust their artistic merit around that...

And boys, stop bickering :p

(tho he's right Gilly)

Hey

I am posting somewhere to AVOID over the net, so that you don't make the same mistake that I did.

DO NOT use 0800flowers.com - they are awful. Delivered missing flowers, broken and about a week late.

Don't most companies make mistakes? :p

Not actually bone idle enough to order flowers online, plus I put thought into buying flowers. But there's plenty of companies listed here .

I know it all seems like hard work typing a few words into a search engine. But once you get over the fact that it isn't hard work and something you don't need to get off your backside to do, you'll like it.

I use either sainsbury's flowers or www.giftservice.co.uk
Although gift service is a little expensive, they have always produced exceptional quality bouquets and so far managed to deliver at a time of my choosing.

harsh basmic, i think the OP was looking for reccomended sites.

indeed personal recomendations is what I was after, I am well aware of how to use google.

tbh flowers are expensive. you get what you pay for. 800flowers will send crap but I've been more than pleased with interflora. isn't she worth it? ;)
