Ordering from abroad

Looking to buy a Noblechairs Epic Black Edition, unfortunately it is unavailable for around 2 months. I have seen it in Germany, what are everyones thoughts about buying overseas?

Well it used to be simple and you still used to get free shipping, I used to buy bike parts from France and Germany.
We aren't in the EU anymore so how much import tax will you have to pay on top of shipping I don't know?

Personally I'd recommend ordering from UK and waiting a bit, it takes a bit longer but I assume would be less hassle.

If you really don't mind about paying the potential import duties to get it quicker then you should do that. Otherwise for ease I personally would just wait the 2 months.

Yes I'm beginning to think it's more trouble than it's worth. I'll put up with perching on the end of my bed for a while longer.

Unfortunately, yes. We are back to the "bad old days" were importing stuff is pretty much a desperate measure only. It's only if you can get it significantly cheaper that you should go that route.
