I'm assuming that mentioning eXpansys is ok? If not then please delete :p

Anyway - would I be right in thinking that they're some kind of reseller, for T-Mobile/Vodafone etc?

I'm looking to get a Touch Pro 2 and all their bundles state that the phone is supplied unlocked - So i'm assuming they just sell you the separate phone (sourced from elsewhere) along with the contract SIM that you've chosen?

Or am I missing something here? :P

TIA!

Nope, you got it. T-Mobile will subsidise the cost of the handset provided you sign to a minimum turn contract, but because you're not buying directly from them, it won't be branded or SIM locked.

Yep can confirm what Mr.Clark says as thats where i bought my Touch HD from and it is indeed unlocked. And my contract is with tmobile as I have already had to have a yell at them lol.

Hmmm very tempted to order a Diamond2 or Touch Pro 2 on the Combo 30 T-Mobile tariff.

Although i'm already an existing customer, on Flext...... can i in theory, cancel, get my PAC code, then transfer this over to my new phone?

I remember when I did this before, but i had to transfer my number to another network (a PAYG phone) then port it back.

Yes, but I think T-Mob need PAC at point of sale (Orange you can do it up to 3 months after connection).

So you will need to port your number to a PayGo (be sure to check their terms, some will only release a PAC after the number has been live on their network for a month), then get the PAC and use it when buying the Touch Pro 2.

Check with T-Mob though, you might be able to port later, thus buy your phone sooner.
