ordering from schuh

just ordered a pair of trainers from schuh. never used them before... how long do they take to deliver on average? it says five days but i'm hoping to get them for friday...
 
I bought a pair of shoes from them a while back, came next day via Royal Mail Special Delivery

Maybe they've changed their shipping method though, who knows

took 2 days for mine, got a pair of dc's and a pair of vans for the sum of £50 (£53 inc postage) i was happy with their service :)
 
you will get an email regarding shipping first, if that hasn't come before 5 then it'll probablt take another day.

i got an order confirmation email a couple of minutes after ordering. is that what you mean, or is there one that is specifically about shipping?

i just got a missed call from them! :( gonna call them back and find out whats wrong...

I ordered some shoes just before christmas and even then both pairs came in 2 days from placing the order, so you should be ok for friday :)
 
I ordered some in the sale 2 weeks ago. Parcel force were crap though, they attempted delivery once then i rang and spoke to the robot to try and make it deliver them to my local depot (otherwise it would cost about £20 in a taxi to get them and they only cost £25) it failed when it got to the date at the end i think.

Delivery was attempted again so i rang in the day from work and asked them to deliver to my local. They said it was done and i went to my local 3 days later and they wernt there, another day and they still wernt. Rang parcel force agian and they hadnt even been sent to my local :mad: Told them to sort it out and this time they were sent and i picked them up 2 days later.

Got them and they were a size too big! Went to schuh store the same day and ordered some size 8s in. they arrived today and i have them with me now. What an ordeal, i really hate delivery companies!!!

Just go in store and tell them the ones you want from the site, if they havent got them order them in or if they have try them on and buy from store. Much easier!
 
the only thing i'm concerened about is that so far there has been no clue at all about when they will arrive. so how the hell am i supposed to know when i need to be at home to sign for them? :confused:
 
you will get another email regarding shipping, if you are not in, then it'll go to the sorting office. You can either pick them up from there, or ask them to delivery it again, or for 50p, drop it off at your local post office where you can pick them up.
 
I work in Schuh and we generally say to the customers 3-5 working days as they can come from any schuh shop in the uk - there is a high chance that you should get them for fri i would think :)
