Hi All,
If anyone out there knows much about compatibility issues with pcs can you have a look at this rig that im ordering next week and see if you can see any problems i may have with component compatibility. (I am an avid fps gamer).

The questions i am tryng to get answered with that setup are:

1. Will the raptor HDD go with that set up smoothly?
2. With the GFX card it states "slave needed" i thought they could run standalone but only needed a slave if cross fire was enabled, is this correct?
3. PSU is it adequate/siutable?
4. Whats best operating system for this rig?

would appreciate anyones views before i order.

Cheers
Andre

Ok, I think you can get a better spec than that for the money. The 4300 can be easily overclocked to the 6600 and quicker. The 6600 isnt worth the price tag mate! Same with the raptors, i sacrificed a raptor so you could have a better graphics card, the antec gets far too dusty so i put in a Lian Li PC7! ;)

The Asus monitor is meant to be a cracking monitor aswell!

Few weeks ago I'd have said (pre-order) Vista 64. But the number of Vista related posts in 'Windows & Other Software' sub-forum have convinced me its better to wait, awhile. Since you need an OS ASAP, just get XP Home ;)
