Please take a look at my spec which I will FINALLY be ordering tomorrow.

What do you guys think? Would you add/change anything?

Looks good. Why that screen in particular? Why not just buy a TV tuner for your PC and then buy a better screen, i.e. a non TN panel. Also, I would just get the standard P6T not the Palm Edition, which seems to simply come with an external readout display thing...or something.

£400 on a hard drive is silly.
also spend the extra £10 and get the zalman psu..

I think the antec 1200 looks cheap/tacky and nasty. You could get the Lian Li PC-A10A Aluminium Full-Tower for £20 more.

Nice setup, only thing I would change is the thermal compound to Arctic silver 5 or MX -2.

Does the SAS drives work off std SATA connectors

Nope, but the motherboard does have SAS connections.

I'd think the cost of the SAS drive is a bit OTT though. I'd be looking at the 940 chip and a SATA RAID.

I'd get the HAF 932 over the 1200. People with these have been swapping to the HAF.

Which monitor would you suggest? I'm not actually too bothered about the whole TV thing, just want a 26" screen with at least one HDMI connection.

The Antec 1200 looks good to me - but I guess it is a personal opinion - it has also got pretty good reviews wherever I look.

I know £400 is a lot for a hard drive but as far as I can tell other than SSD (which are even more pricey) SAS drives are the quickest thing around?

I will swap the PSU though I think
