Does this look okay? I already have a case (Corsair 550D), OS, HDD, Optical drive and peripherals. I'd like to do a safe overclock on the 2500k as I'm quite new to all of this. Would I need a seperate CPU cooler? As for video card I'm planning on a 7850 so far but I might change my mind. Main use will be for gaming.

it looks fine, to overclock the chip and aftermarket cooler would be a good idea.

as mentioned would be worth waiting to see what ivybridge offers, which iirc is due in the next few days.

Seconds away from clicking order! Just want confirmation that the PSU is enough for my needs. I see some people spending £25 more on Corsair 650Ws and wonder why when this is so cheap.

I know lots of people here seem to like the M4....but I wondered if the much lower write (than read) speed was a good thing. I am looking at the OCZ Vertex 3 instead because the read speed is comparable but the write speed is much faster
