Hi guys

I have my e2160 clocked at 3.2GHz (400*8 @ 1.5675v) with 4GB GeIL ULL at 800Mhz (5-5-5-18 @ 2.2v) MCH +.02v, FSB +.02v which is stable for gaming but fails orthos after 8hrs. What can i change to get this fully stable?

It seems strange to me that it can last 8hrs then fail so let me know what u think. Highest recorded temp is 65ºC in CoreTemp.

I'd just leave it how it is unless it really bothers you. My overclock lasted for 8 hours in prime, then when I clicked stop it froze... I just left it and it hasn't crashed on me once so I'm not too bothered.

1.5675v.
Wow. E2160 is alright at this? Others have done the same?

1.56v at 65ºC max is fine for a conroe 24/7.

Sound stable enough to me buddy, I’ve had stock clocked pc's that have on the odd occasion failed an all night stress test, it happens sometimes.

If it fails at the same test on a repeat stress test, then it likely means there is an instruction combination which triggers the fault. I had one on my old P4 system but it failed after 16 hour on prime95. The system was stable with all the games I had at the time, but when I bought oblivion it crashed so frequently. Dropping it by 1mhz on the FSB and it would pass the 16 hour mark, and oblivion became "playable".
