Orientation question RM850X

Retiring my old hx850 and on reading reviews on this they noted not to put it fan side down, although my 750D has the filter in that position. The reasoning was that the model I had bought is semi passive and would trap heat thus adding wear to the components.

Toms review said this, was it all guff

Do a google search for toms hardware reviews and you’ll get the picture.

I'd download the instruction manual from the website and see what the official line is.

If it gets too warm the fan will kick in so it shouldn't be and issue.
Especially if the unit is upside down it won't be sucking in warm air from the rest of the PC.

Thought as much. Just that one review had me questioning my sanity
