Origin 48hr trial issue

Hi all
My misses wanted to try origins 48 hour trials of the sims 4 and also titanfall.
When she tried to run them both they both asked for serial keys which she naturally didnt have. She ended up on ea`s online chat and the guy there did something to activate the sims 4. She however cannot bear to sit on online chat another 30 mins to try titanfall. My question is am i missing something here as i cant see the point in giving away a free trial only to have you sit on chat for half an hour just to get to try it!

i gave up trying to get the sims 4 48hour trial to work.. when i installed it and clicked start trial time now, it brought up the buy screen for the game and said "you have used your 48hours thanks feel free to buy the game"... like erm. i haven't even launched the game yet!

when i searched the web i found that was a issue bud. This one is just as bad ......hey see if you like our game or not for free, oh you just need a serial first. How stupid.

I had the op`s issue with titanfall too. Is there any quick fix rather than sitting on live chat?

I got the serial key issue with Titanfall also, and I own it! A restart of Origin sorted it however.
