Okay so I get origin access couple days ago and start downloading most the games, no problems at all, even reinstalling them after moving game folder to different hard drive, however hardline ultimate digital is not working at all.

I tried downloading it yesterday and thought it worked as it loaded the battle net browser and I Joined a server, but on loading screen it crashed after awhile so no playing at all, did this about 3 or 4 times before saying the game isn't installed  so I don't know how I got as far as a loading screen in the first place.

Now since starting download again it gets to 100% and then fails, it has been doing that ever since yesterday no matter how may times I remove and re add back to library or restart origin and its really peeing me off as whether or not it's a good game I want to play it as its part of my free games vault .

Could anyone possibly tell me if I haven't done something or if this is an issue with origin/hardline itself and no hope till im they sort it? I'd hate to pay for the game from a shop just to play it.

Cheers

Try running punkbuster services to check that installed and is working correctly.
Also could be an issue with the browser. I used to use Chrome when I played the beta and it worked fine.

Apart from that I have no idea what the issue could be.

Thanks for replies.

I never had any issue with punk buster when I got BF4 months ago(disc copy) and infact as BF3 was in the vault I installed that earlier and that had no problem either(not fired the game up but it's installed), so I don't know why hardline is different, but I will try look at it as suggested.

Edit: oh and i use chrome for my browser, other than explorer I never got on with other types.. Even for bf4 the browser can be questionable, I wish it was like it is on console.

Okay quick update:

Went to that link after my reply and got the installer, updated PB for BF3 & 4, hardline not properly as the game wasn't downloaded properly to start with so no luck there, I tried the game again and same crap, I even deselected PB from the download process and still the same rubbish.

Am I still not doing something correctly or had this game suddenly become broken?

install the games

then install pb from the site.

then mine worked.

That's the problem, I can't install the game at all, the download gets to 100% then a pop up come up saying it failed which then puts the download in to 'paused' status.

The only game from the vault I've had issues with.

Can't recall off the top of my head as it has been a while since I used origin. Check the size of the Hardline folder in it's storage destination, the game may have installed, but not correctly. If it has, go back to the origin app and right click on the game and see if you have an option to verify the files or update the game.

what av are u using m8?

What do you mean by AV bud?

Okay I will check folders, but last time I did that hardline wasn't as I just keep my games to 'origin games' folder.

I still don't get how I loaded the browser, purchased some weapons and got as far as a loading screen for a game twice before it decides to tell me it's not installed , dont think its the origin client itself do you? No other games have issues just something particular about his game.

aha shouldve known lol.

while it keeps saying trial over for both i have MalwareBytes and AVG so by that logic just the basic versions. surely these cant effect can they?

i have never had issues installing a game before other than compatibility or drivers and as i said, i downloaded and installed BF3 without issue during the hardline issues and never had issues with BF4 since i purchased disc version in feb.

Trial over is different to not installed.

Trial over is a licensing error saying you don't own the game. Are you sure you've got Origin Access properly activated on your account ?

The "trial expired" error is the error you get when you try a game that you don't own and then the trial runs out.

Thanks for reply.

It wasn't a trial, I didn't even know about hardline on there till I got access to the vault, NFS 15 and titanfall were trials that are now full versions since signing up and those were the only trials.

Anyways I don't know how but it's working , I started the download again this morning aswell as downloading other stuff from another site and went out for hours, now back on my computer and discovered it was playable.

Granting access pop up and play tv caused a delay, but I'm now in a game, so happy days:D
