Origin.......ARGHHHHHHH!!!!

Stuck at work, hope I can get back on Kingdoms of Amalur later :(. On a side note, what a pain in the arse - I have the DVD, why do I need to download it?

Snap, on at customer support now but I'm getting nothing!

Pretty sure the guy is about to ask me to reinstall origin rather than just tell me how long the servers are going to be down for.

Yet again Origin kicks me in the teeth when I actually have time to sit and play something!

Rajan:
I can understand how disappointing it is. Some of the customers have reported this issue. Our developers are aware of it and are working for a resolution. We appreciate your patience while the issue is being looked into.
you:
Any timescale as to when this would be sorted?
Rajan:
We are trying to resolve it as soon as possible

Make of that what you will.

I just don't understand there logic of not having a work-around to fire up BF3 when EA's servers are down...

Bah.. just tried logging in.... and no success. Bizarrely I got onto the webpage.. found a server, went to play, and then origin asked for my password again. odd. (Which then failed).

I wonder if everyone is hammering the origin servers to get teh ME3 demo?

Steam had loads of issues when it was new as well..

It did but that was many years ago, in theory steam/valve had already worked out all of the kinks for EA/Origin.

Its back on for me now too, but for how long? who knows. It honestly wouldn't be such a ball ache if they just allowed methods for opening games that don't require origin in the first place.
