Origin Change Passwords : Info Published

Pastebin is at best an unreliable repository and at worst a script kiddie cesspit where dox and data are recombined from previous breaches in a bid to sow fear and inflate hackers' reputations.

That is the truth; if your password sucks at some point you'll get caught out. If it doesn't then you'll be fine. Yes its Pastebin that's reporting 600 possible user idea/information.......

I had my Origin account hijacked years ago when neds hacked account details back then.

Nothing new, it is crummy EA.

My steam account is over 10 years old, not one problem with account security.

Had my account hacked about a year back. After a leak was reported.

I've setup 2 step authentication since.

But I still don't trust them with payment details and such. So keep that information off Origin.

Somebody in Ukraine had control of my account. Live chat sorted it out in about 20 minutes. Turned on 2 factor authentication now so shouldnt happen again.

This.

  • Never reuse a password
  • Use two factor authentication
  • Use a password manager
