Friend of mine has been trying to install BF3 through Origin, but due to space limitations, he needs to install it on a different drive.
I accomplished this by going into the settings and selecting a difference install location, but when attempts this, he get “The installation directory is invalid. Please choose a different directory”.
Despite removing Origin, running a registry cleaner, deleting all local & associated files and then re-installing, the error still remains. We’ve been through deleting the game cache and creating a named directory manually on the drive, but nothing seems to work.
Any idea how to get around this?
