Ive got a Dual Boot system with Win XP 32bit and Win Vista 64bit. I have a separate HDD for Games. So 3 HDD's in total, one for XP, one for Vista and one for Games.

I use XP for general computing and playing games, I use Vista for certain games that require it such as Just Cause 2 and Battlefield 3.

Ages ago I installed Steam through XP onto the Games HDD along with all my non Steam games. I can load up Steam through Vista also and everything works fine. I copied my save game files from the XP drive (mostly in a My Games folder in My Documents) onto the Vista drive so I can load up a game and continue with my saves no matter if Im in XP or Vista.

Now, Origin...I installed Origin through XP ages ago also, but with the recent release of BF3, I needed to boot to Vista to install and play BF3.

However, when loading Origin in XP, I see my Games list for all the games I can play through XP, eg Crysis, Medal of Honor etc. They were also installed through XP too. But when I load up Origin in Vista, it shows the same list of Games but says none of my games are installed apart from BF3 which I had to install through Vista anyway.

Its really annoying, I dont understant how Steam can do it no problem but Origin cant seem to be launched from different OS's and show the same information. I can still play the games on either OS (such as Crysis) but I have to launch it from the .exe and not through Origin.

Anyone else had this problem?
