I have had countless forums, emails and gaming apps in the past with passwords, I can remember pretty much all of them and even if one pass is out of wack, I end up getting it right in the end. But Origin has been a pain in the **** for a long time! Everytime Origin does an update it again wants me to re enter my username and password, but unlike before the email account associated with it has long since expired and my pass no longer works.

So I can't login with with my email and I can't contact EA support to change the password because.. I need to login :p

Anyone ever sorted this out before?

My snafu with them came when they changed from I think usernames to email addresses and now I've somehow ended up with 2 different accounts with my games spread across them which is a bit annoying.

Only thing I can suggest is maybe reach out on twitter and bad mouth them with a bunch of hash tags - that usually gets a response :p

Origin can be a pain but if you set it up with text message/Phone app security it removes the issues like above. Anybody else reading the above thinks the OP has only themselves to blame ?

The "easiest way" to solve it is check if you have any emails of game purchases because you can use these to get your account back. You do keep all your emails of game purchases dont you!

Everything I use

Steam
Paypal
Ebay

All has secondary authorization, even my main email!

Origin was hardly ever used, infact I never used origin when you could do secondary authorisation :), just felt like playing a bit of battlefield and was screwed! Yeh all my emails of game purchases are in the email that doesn't exists anymore.

Create a other account to talk to origin support. They have been very good to me in the past (moving games, manually adding BFBC2).

I do think using an account with an innactive email is a bit silly.

speak to customer support, I lost my account access when I upgraded my phone and forgot to deactivate my authenticator. 25 minutes later support had it all sorted and I was back in.
