Origin says connected elsewhere after a crash

msg pops up every single time i load origin after my pc crashed mid game. I have changed my password and tried reinstalling Origin, any ideas on this, just bugs me that i have to connect twice so to speak.

Have the exact same issue. I was worried my account had been hacked so changed my password too. Still get same message at log in and haven't been able to find any other people with the same problem or a response from EA if its a bug.

Make sure you set a security question btw, I know a few people who have had their accounts stolen and they had quite complex passwords.

Mine said account in use earlier today when my internet connection dropped and re-connected - if you mean something line that? If so then nothing to worry about.

just bugging new now, reinstalled origin, rebooted pc and router.... grrr

This happened to me a few weeks ago. Like most of you, I crapped myself and changed password and security question, but still happened. Went on some forums and a few people were reporting the same issue, which had something to do with the most recent update to Origin. Give it a few days and it will sort itself.

Been having the same since the patch.

Also, whenever I load the game it takes me to the battle net page but won't let me edit my character or join any games. All the right settings are ticked and saved but the game/expansions are unticked and it won't let me tick them.

Very annoying.

Tried running as administrator and also tried checking for update etc

Think I have fixed it. Rolled back to IE9 from 10 and touch wood so far so good.

Well i just clicked on login as normal after the message and it worked as usual, until the next time

Had this couple time. If Origin dont close down properly and your PC crashes or you force switch off PC. Next time windows starts Origin says its logged in on another system lol
