I've only got Origin on my PC because BF3 requires it, that same BF3 I've had since release date and never been able to play due to some error.

Was looking through my Program Files earlier and saw a folder called Origin, I was having a heart attack until I opened it and it was Java.

Because there was never any need for it, it's just a redundant piece of software that has to be loaded up before launching battlecrap 3. It doesn't do anything that Steam doesn't, it's just lol

Although I have origin, I hardly ever fire it up. It's only threads such as these that make me remember that I have it lurking in the depths of my system.

Depends on your exchange rate, it's £12.49 in the steam summer sale.

(And hasn't been on a daily deal yet)

Oh nice didn't even notice. Yeah it's 17.49 on Steam too so I'll wait and see if it becomes a daily deal.

Oh it would be hilarious if it wasn't so pathetic. I told my friend who has been wanted Crysis 2 for a while - £12.49 on both Origin and Steam.....hmmmm who should he buy it from - lol.

Also £20 for BF3 - not worth it! And £12.50 to have all the weapons unlocked in the game you already own just so you can be on a level playing field!!! Go die in a ditch somewhere EA
