Origin using maxing 2 cores for no reason

so im sat here looking at my cpu usage in the bottom corner of my screen. i have 14 google chrome pages open and music playing, nothing major for my pc.

yet im using 45 -50 % on the cpu so i look at my cpu meter and it tells me that core 2 and 4 are maxed out, so i go into the process' in task manager and it shows origin is eating my cpu up but its doing nothing? closed it and all back to normal again

has anyone else noticed this origin junk eating usable processing power?

Steam is using as much system resources as Origin in terms of memory usage. Monitoring the task manager I see Origin sometimes fluctuating between 00 and 08 CPU usage.

the thing is usialy i only use up around 5 - 7 % cpu that with all the **** in the taskmanager steam,origin,afterburner,anti virus

but origin shot up to around 50% usage on its own for no reason?

Might be caught in an update loop, trying to unpack files it doesn't have or similar.
