Origin

I'm NOT saying problems of that nature are 10 specific I said there has been a RECENT issue like that which in this case IS 10 specific - hence being a recent issue it might be applicable to what the OP is encountering right NOW.

He does not give much details so again could be hardware or third party software related, very easy to blame OS when users don't really troubleshoot, but just point figures and rant. Normally 99% of time these issues are caused by something else. I would go through basic checks on his PC ie HD tests for corruption, memory check, full malware, virus scan, look at other programs installed to see if any conflicts (has been known to happen from my experience). Drivers sure easy to change and try a different version.

Zero issues with Origin or UPlay for ages now, through windows 7 and 10. In fact I rarely log in to Steam these days, most of the games I play are through non-steam clients.

I'm not a fan as it's forced on people and serves generally no useful purpose bar allowing ea to market your information.

At least with Steam the sales are good, Origin sales are rubbish.

Having said that, it at least works so it's an improvement on uplay and R*.

You think Steam doesn't also harvest your info?

EA use Origin to give away decent games from time to time though.

Also seen some games cheaper on Origin than on Steam when they do sales.

EA aren't great but Steam isn't the client it used to be. I really like the censorship in the chatbox on Steam, I can't even link to Google photos without it saying [LINK REMOVED]
